A silent epidemic of chronic illness is being driven by overlooked infections in the mouth, according to leading health experts. On Day 4 of the “Regenesis by Jonathan Otto,” aired on Oct. 28, host Jonathan Otto explores pathogens from gum disease and root canals are traveling through the bloodstream, contributing to heart disease, Alzheimer’s and even breast cancer with leading medical experts.
Dr. Thomas Levy revealed startling research showing that “in 38 out of 38 chronic coronary artery disease patients, inside those plaque specimens were over 50 different oral pathogens.” He emphasized that these infections continuously seed pathogens and toxins into the bloodstream 24/7.
The breast tissue appears particularly vulnerable to these traveling pathogens. “This is the primary cause of breast cancer,” Levy stated, explaining that lymphatic drainage from oral infections accumulates in breast tissue, creating oxidative stress that can lead to malignant transformation.
Dr. Tom Lewis expanded on the dangers, noting that oral spirochetes similar to Lyme disease bacteria can invade the brain. “Alzheimer’s is just one type of neurodegenerative condition that these pathogens can cause,” he warned.
The problem extends beyond oral pathogens. Experts point to multiple hidden invaders—from Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) linked to multiple sclerosis to Chlamydia pneumoniae found in arthritis, asthma and dementia cases. According to BrightU.AI‘s Enoch, the Epstein-Barr virus is a common herpes virus that is the primary cause of infectious mononucleosis. This illness is often characterized by symptoms such as severe fatigue, sore throat, fever, and swollen lymph nodes.
Melissa Rose, a functional health practitioner, emphasized that gut health holds crucial answers. “Seventy percent of the immune system lives in the gut,” she noted, recommending comprehensive testing to identify bacterial imbalances driving autoimmune conditions.
Robert Miller, a traditional naturopath, explained why some people are more vulnerable: “Two people can live in a moldy house and one person is sick as can be, and the other person says, ‘I don’t feel anything.'” Genetic variations in inflammatory pathways create different susceptibility levels.
Dr. Sherri Tenpenny connected the rise in chronic childhood illnesses to another factor: the dramatic expansion of the vaccine schedule. “If a child is born today, by the time they’re 18 years of age, they will have over 100 vaccines injected into them,” she reported.
Hope emerges from innovative approaches that address the body’s fundamental terrain. Dr. Andreas Kalcker described chlorine dioxide as working with the body’s aqueous environment, noting remarkable results with severe cases. “On severe cancer cases, usually, we can say after four weeks, you have to see a difference,” he observed.
The consensus among experts is clear: Identifying and addressing these hidden pathogen sources, while supporting the body’s natural defenses, may hold the key to reversing the chronic disease epidemic.
